Following is a sample of our easy-to-follow instructions, screen captures used to enhance the learning procedure, and Graphic Buttons. In the following example, identifies that the Menus can be used; identifies the Keyboard can be used. This sample provides steps on inserting the current date in a Word for Windows 6.0 document.


DATE FEATURE

The Date Feature automatically inserts the date (as set by the computer). The Date Field Code option inserts the selected date as a code, which automatically changes to the current date when the document is opened or printed. When the Insertion Point is placed inside a Date Field Code, the entire date field is displayed in a shadow block.

To insert the date automatically:
1. Position Insertion Point where the date is to be inserted
2.Click on "Insert", "Date and Time..."

3.Click on desired Date Format
4.Click inside Insert as Field Check Box to insert code if desired
5.Click on [OK] or press

To insert the Date as a Field Code using the Keyboard:
1. Position the Insertion Point where the Date Field Code is to be inserted
2. Press ++
