Brian Chan has been a professional fisheries biologist for the past 15 years and an active flyfisher and fly tier for the past 25 years specializing in stillwaters.

He is a field editor for B.C. Outdoors Magazine and contributing author to "The Gilly" and "The Worlds Best Trout Flies". At present he is co-authoring a book with Skip Morris on lake flyfishing techniques and fly pattern selection guide.

Brian is also a popular lecturer at Pacific Northwest fly fishing clubs and is well known for his seminars at major Canadian and U.S. sportsman shows. His expertise and hands on knowledge is well highlighted during weekend seminars on prestigious fishing waters such as Stoney Lake on the Douglas Lake Cattle Ranch.

A resident of of Kamloops, B.C. for the past 25 years, the Team Sage member lives in the heart of Kamloops trout country.
