THE BLACK WIDOW

The fly had reached the end of its drift. As it swung away from the ledge and into the open water a grab forced the rod tip down with a jolt. This was the first interest, but not the last for this dark and effective pattern. The Black Widow will produce results, especially on smaller streams. Simple to tie flies help to increase the time spent on streams. The Black Widows is one fly that adds to time on a river.
